An interferogram showing overlapping tessellations interacting with different mapping operations. For each rectangle, the outer squares are the original tessellations, while the middle square is the overlapping one. Tick marks indicate the applied translational mapping. Coloring was generated using three transparent colors red, yellow, and blue.
