Aiman Soliman is a mathematical graphic artist based in Champaign, Illinois. His artwork features tessellations, symmetry, and visual illusions. Aiman’s art explores the mathematical basis for the visual harmony of forms and colors. Aiman inspiration comes from classical music written in the counterpoint style, where classical composers had used mathematical rules for centuries to construct melodic lines that interplay harmonically. Aiman is trained as a scientist and has contributed to the mathematical art scene over the past seven years. His artworks were exhibited nationally and internationally in Denver, Boston, Stockholm, Linz, and Aalto. Several of his graphic artworks are in private and public collections.
